FAQ

How many cities can I add?

There is no hard limit. The tool saves your city list to localStorage in your browser, so it persists between sessions. You can add as many as you like and remove any by hovering the card.

Are my custom cities saved?

Yes. Your city list is saved in your browser's localStorage. It persists across page reloads and browser restarts, as long as you don't clear your browser data.

Can I search for cities not in the list?

The search covers over 100 major cities worldwide. If your city is not listed, you can use the Timezone Converter tool to look up any IANA timezone manually.

Is the time accurate?

Yes. The tool reads the current time from your device's system clock and converts it to each city's timezone using the browser's built-in Intl API. Accuracy depends on your device's clock.

Does the page need to stay open to keep updating?

Yes. Times update every second while the page is open. If you close the tab, the clock stops. Reopen the page to resume.

Can I use this on mobile?

Yes. The responsive grid works on phones and tablets. Clock cards are touch-friendly and city search works on mobile keyboards.
